El Camino Real

Original post made by Pat Masia, Woodside High School, on Mar 31, 2008

As I was driving down the lonely stretch of El Camino in Menlo Park a thought occurred to me. Why not make this long stretch a fun place for kids!
Children in the Menlo Park area are a very important asset to their community.
How about a Planet Granite, The Jungle (restaurant) and any other environmentally fun place that kids would want to go to. The age can be unlimited.

Perfect timing, Pat! The El Camino visioning process is underway, and the public is invited to present input this Thursday, April 3. Right now, the consultants seem determined to fill El Camino with dense high rises. Perhaps hearing from people like you will help them unfog their vision.
