I met Dr. David Morris at a park 2 years ago when our daughters began playing together. My daughter attends Woodland Preschool in Ladera, so I feel that I have a good idea what kinds of priorities parents are supporting in the Portola Valley area. Dr. Morris is a compassionate father of 2. It really seems like he has an open mind and the keen ability to solve complex problems with meaningful solutions. He has a great outlook on life. I think he would be a great addition to the school board. Although he's fairly new to the area, there are some people, like David Morris, who are sensitive to the needs of others and perceptive enough to quickly assess needs and devise workable solutions. We would be lucky to have him in a leadership position on education issues for our children.
