On Saturday, May 17, the Menlo-Atherton High School Boys’ Varsity Swim team earned the prestigious honor of receiving the Spring Scholastic Championship Team Award for the Central Coast Section. The Spring Scholastic Championship Team Award recognizes the team from each CCS Varsity sport with the highest collective grade-point average of all teams competing in that sport during that season of competition. The team’s collective GPA of 3.7 topped the seventy other teams in the CCS.
The award was presented to the M-A Boys’ Varsity Swim team at the CCS Spring Playoff Championship games held at Stanford this past Saturday. The team received a trophy and each member of the Boys’ Swim Team received a certificate.
