Around Town, posted by CSMA, a resident of another community, on Jun 12, 2008 at 9:03 am

The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) at Finn Center in Mountain View presents a special free event – In Concert with Irene Sharp, Cello, and Steven Lightburn, Piano – on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 7 pm. Enjoy the artistry of Sharp, an internationally acclaimed musician and master teacher who has inspired countless students and concert goers. The performance will feature works by Rachmaninoff, Miakovsky and Martinu. The concert is the culmination of a week-long cello workshop at CSMA in which young students have the opportunity to study with Sharp and other world-class artists and music educators. Limited, open seating in CSMA’s Tateuchi Hall, 230 San Antonio Circle, Mountain View, is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, please call 650-917-6800, ext. 314 or see www.arts4all.org.
