Animal shelter open until midnight Saturday

The Peninsula Humane Society and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in San Mateo will keep its doors open until midnight Saturday in an effort to encourage visitors to adopt homeless cats and dogs. Photo: For information on Bounder, go to Web Link .
