On August 22nd, 2008, Saint Raymond School in Menlo Park celebrated its back to school BBQ to allow families to catch up on the summer’s events and gear up for the upcoming school year. Approximately 500+ adults and children attended the event. This year’s theme was a Hawaiian Luau and one of the things that made this year’s event such a hit was the veritable feast of marinated short ribs and Hawaiian chicken prepared by Cherimel Yuzon of Goldilocks Restaurant in Daily City and members of her staff. The BBQ committee would also like to thank Sister Ann Bernard (principal) and Father William Meyers for their support of this event.

BBQ Co-chairs (left to right in attached photo):

Maria Lim & son, Violetta Brandys, Cherimel Yuzon, Mariella Hermosillo, Nimpa Nunn, Christina Yanacek, Roxanne El-Hage, Minnie Pedrazas, Carmen Ramierez (not in picture)
