Another electric car company may come to MP

Original post made on Oct 5, 2008

Tesla Motors' days as the only electric car dealership in Menlo Park may be numbered. ZAP!, a Santa Rosa-based electric vehicle company, is in talks with the city to open a dealership at 550 El Camino Real — the site of the abandoned Buick/Cadillac/GMC dealership.

You need to look at Phoenix Motorcars, they will be releasing a freeway speed, 240 mile range, electric car that charges in 10 minutes due to the revolutionary Altair Nanotechnologies Battery which never heats up and lasts longer than the car (+20,000 charge/discharge cycles)in late October this month. The Arabs in the UAE who bought a chumk of ZAP also bought $40 Million Dollars of Altair stock and some of Phoenix stock. They have run out of oil and decided that this is the new frontier in the energy business. There is also a company called Maxwell Technologies that is one of two manufacturers of ultracapacitors which greatly reduce the electric use and draw of batteries, thus extending the life of a battery so that the charge last longer than normally. These companies are going to go wild. Altiar has military and big power company contracts and also does nano work in the chemical field with paint. They just signed a big venture partnership having to do with one of their inventions with Sherwin Williams Paint Company. Project Better Place is a scam and the politicans going along with it are corrupt just like the Congress and the Republicans in the White House who sold us all out in order to give money to Wall Street crooks. I just can not believe they are just lacking in intelligence and available information.
