Mountain lion alert issued in Portola Valley

The carcass of a partially consumed deer found in the front yard of a Portola Valley home Saturday morning prompted the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office to issue a warning to residents in light of recent mountain lion sightings, a police sergeant said.

Just issue a couple of hunt tags for crying out loud, before one of your dumb environmentalist kids get eaten.
