What is wrong with you people?! This project is going to reduce the impact of the Caltrain running through your town, and even with more tracks it will be quieter and less obtrusive. Mr. Moore, if you knew anything about the project perhaps you would understand that bringing high speed rail through the Caltrain corridor is the fastest route to electrifying Caltrain. Making San Jose the terminus of the line undermines the entire project. You would get from LA to San Jose in 2 hours, and then spend at least an entire hour more getting from SJ to SF, ruining appeal, ridership, and revenue.

I am so tired of you HSR sock puppets coming on these forums and posting messages. I know a lot about HSR, and not only is it financially indefensible, it would create lasting damage to two cities. Obviously, you have never visited the mid-peninsula and have no idea what you are talking about. Plus it takes 23 minutes to get to San Jose on the train--do your homework!

Good luck getting another badly paid job that reflects your dubious integrity. Your handlers aren't going to be sending you any more checks after Tuesday. Props to all four Atherton candidates for taking a community-centric stance.

Someone says something good about the system and they are a "Sock Puppet" and on the payroll? I have done my homework and I know the good this system will bring. I am not on the payroll and I'm nobody's sock puppet. I'm for zero emmissions and smart growth. I'm for jobs and for the economy. I'm for alternatives and for high-speed rail.

HSR is a massive ripoff scheme that's being perpetrated on the California voters. It's not going to happen, not in its currently proposed form anyway. A few people will get rich from the bond money, but you're not going to be among them.

I live in the CITY with a view of the Bay Bridge..Richey and babie whineessss.!!Well earned ..AND dont worry that 140 year old railroad that built wonderland will just get alittle wider..no one will die or be tied to the tracks!!! and your comment about Inglewood has a Racist tone and other comments show your a true snob

Consider yourself fortunate living in a 21-st century and benefit the confort of it. Most of freeways are like huge "Parking place in slow motion", at pick traffic. The high speed is the only solution.
