Scott Alonso, a 2004 graduate of Menlo-Atherton, recently completed a stint with the California Democratic Party in San Francisco. President-Elect Barack Obama's message of change prompted Scott to seek out ways to make a difference. He decided to work for the state party and create change at the local level.
Scott is a recent graduate of the University of Hawaii and previously worked for several local political figures including Assembly Ira Ruskin.

Bravo, Scott. While the old fogies of my generation scoffed at the possibility of change, you jumped in and got to work. I'm sorry my generation is leaving yours such a mess, and I hope more of you 20 and 30 somethings succeed in your efforts to right the ship.
