So very noblesse oblige of Amy! What a role model for the other overprivileged children of the mid-peninsula.

Thanks for making the difference and inspire more people to volunteer and help.

Greetings from Peru,

Edith

Thanks for writing this, Amy!

I want to take my daughter, Hua Wen, on a volunteer "vacation" and it helps to hear from someone her own age!

Also as a mom, it makes me feel she will be safe.

Thanks again,

Pat

I also volunteered at PPA Summer 2008. It was a fantastic and rewarding experience through Global Volunteers. I am a middle school teacher and am preparing for my volunteer trip with my family to South Africa.
