Obituary: Charlotte Anderson: Noted gardener and community leader

Charlotte Anderson, noted gardener, community leader and volunteer in Portola Valley for more than 50 years, died unexpectedly Sunday evening, June 10, at The Sequoias in Portola Valley. She was 82.

This is a fitting and lovely tribute to a fine family. My younger sister and Doug Anderson were best friends as small children. Charlotte's death marked the end of a special era in Portola Valley history.
