USA's transition to socialism
Other Topics, posted by Michael Stiviv, a resident of the Menlo Park: Felton Gables neighborhood, on Apr 1, 2009 at 7:17 am

What the world of the Obama socialists, European style, want is simple. A United States too weak to manufacture. Then if it does produce a product, kill it with taxes. Note that Obama is forcing Chrysler to sell itself to Fiat, of Italy--that or shut down. What is the next American firm to be sold at the demand of Barack Obama?

"Another form of "adjustment" is to require exporters to "buy (carbon) offsets at the border equal to that which the producer would have been forced to purchase had the goods been produced domestically." Imagine the U.N. forcing American exporters to buy carbon offsets."

In other words, create a "carbon tax", making it so high that no American exports can be sold--we will only be allowed to sell to ourselves--our people will be shut out. This is how they kill the United States. This of course will cause Obama to either give in and close down our nation, in the name of "saving the planet", or approve of the higher carbon taxes, create our own, thus forcing the world into a deep depression--a trade war started by Al Gore and his maniacs who hate America--enough to destroy the economics of a free world. In that climate nations will not be able to defend themselves from the riots within as the citizens realize it was government that killed their jobs and future.

Watch President Obama approve the world wide imposition of a carbon tax, then see how quickly Americans become unemployed.

Mr. Stiviv, I don't know which planet you live on, but regarding Planet Earth, America became too weak to manufacture, for the most part, long ago, when the corporate oligarchy directed its bought-and-paid for politicians to allow businesses to ship jobs overseas, ignore tax obligations, and further manipulate the system to their advantage, at the expense of the rest of us.

And to criticize Obama for "forcing" Chrysler to "sell itself" -- what a hoot! You think those billions of dollars we handed over to Chrysler and GM should be obligation-free? Is that what you mean by "free market"? You are just too funny.

I love posts like Mr. Stiviv's. I simply don't have the stomach to listen to Moron Radio, where the likes of Limbaugh and Savage howl at the moon. But who needs to? We can get a nice summary of the talking points every time we read posts like Mr. Stiviv's. They can be entertaining, but sad, too. Why do these guys need to listen to demagogues rather than thinking for themselves?
