Services for Cleora Reuscher Flegel on April 29

Cleora (Reuscher) Flegel, who with her husband Arthur Flegel opened Flegels furniture store in downtown Menlo Park some 55 years ago, died Friday night, April 17, at her home in Menlo Park, surrounded by her family. She was 90.

This is sad news, indeed. Cleo was a wonderful woman and our community is diminished a bit by her passing. She had such a sweet smile and gracious manner. Cleo was a real "class act". And, I for one, am going to miss her.

My heart goes out to all of her family. And, Art, my prayers go to you.
