I went in with a musical child to listen to the Piano Bar and the singing. I agree, joie de vivre applies to Mr. Adams, though I'd use the word quirky only because I can pronounce it.

Particularly fun was when the chef came to our table to negotiate with my daughter what style of Vegen would suit her that evening. The results were terrific.

Looking forward to more meals if they'll let us back in!

Huh, well knowing Mr. Adams from Oak City I was interested in seeing him and his sidekick, Miles, at their new digs. First night we went there (two nights after opening) it was late. We were served a glass of wine on the house to welcome us. That was very thoughtful....THEN we went back....We were over charged with no apology, no drink on the house and no refund. We have been treated "differently" our last few times there and we won't be going back. Mr. Adams would not work with us thru the "mis understanding". Not a good "bed side manner" if you ask us!

Food is too heavy, outdated, and not interesting -- seen it all before.

Service is v-e-r-y slow.

Lots of attitude, not customer-oriented.

Went twice to give it a chance - music was good, though.

But we won't be returning.
