Atherton voters face decision on renewing town's parcel tax

Atherton voters will be asked to approve a four-year renewal of the $750 annual parcel tax when they head to the polls on Nov. 3. The Atherton City Council voted unanimously at its July 15 meeting to put the parcel tax on the ballot.

So once again, the town officials are "scaring" the residents. If they don't approve the parcel tax there will be no emergency services. This is what they do EVERY SINGLE TIME this goes to the voters. What the voters need to do is send a very strong message to the administation that they are tired of the wasteful spending. That they are tired of incompetance. That they are tired of unethical employees. That they are not going to foot the bill to pay off multiple law suits. Live within your means. Like the rest of us.

Dear P. R. consultant hired to sell hired to sell the parcel tax to the public: The tolerance factor being what it is already--you may need to double the dose of coolaid currently administerd directly into the town's water supply---don't worry--Charles can assist .
