Original post made on Jul 27, 2009

It's about time! This is a no-brainer. The current situation is extremely dangerous for everyone. It's marked as a bike lane on both sides of the road, so why allow anyone to park there at all? Put up some signs, get the deputies out there to write tickets and clean up the area so it is safe. If some people have to park farther away and walk a bit, that seems a reasonable price for safety.

While I agree that there needs to be something done, you just can't put up signs if there is no where for anyone to go and park elsewhere. There needs to be a parking lot or structure somewhere and behind Roberts Hardware, mini mall, might be a good place to add a two story (at least) structure and get rid of the fire hazard that is currantly there.
