I make a living by putting other people's money to work.

I used to think spending $750 annually to keep our police department was a good investment.

With all of the scandals and stories comming out of that department I no longer feel such is the case. I will be voting no against the parcel tax and will be urging my clients and friends to do the same.

Now is the time to look at more cost effective ways of protecting lives and property in town.

In my view defeating the parcel tax is the first step in promoting a discussion that should have been conducted long ago.
