Police Calls: Residential burglary in Atherton, four Rolex watches stolen in Portola Valley

This information is from the Atherton and Menlo Park police departments and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Under the law, people charged with offenses are considered innocent until convicted.

Just out of curiosity, why would a vehicle colliding with a water main be filed under "Vandalism?" Do police think the collision was deliberate?
