Atherton council meeting cancelled

A special Atherton City Council meeting set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts, said City Manager Jerry Gruber.

Mr. Gibboney--I read your editorial twice and am still confused --do you support Atherton's attempt to maintain it's roads with a"users" fee to the constuction industry that damages them -- or do you feel it is foolish for the town to risk a law suit from them??
For whatever it is worth, I don't think the town should have to pay to repair roads damaged by a handful of developers speculating their money on Atherton's real estate. It should be their cost of business--not the towns or the residents public money
I could not figure out how to comment on your editorial "Another U-Turn in Atherton" so I am commenting here.
