How about Jerry Gruber as both mayor and city manager? I think that makes more sense. The council has been micromanaging him, and I think he deserves to be able to operate with some sense of autonomy. He's earned the right.

I like both Kathy and Charles. I feel they both have something different to bring to this town. Before you judge either one of these town council members sit down and talk to them directly. I also feel given the current things going on in this town we should have a third party take a look at everything.

This whole mess would have been cleaned up two years ago if the council had not voted to go out of the regular order, and skip Kathy as mayor in favor of Jim Janz--I think they were afraid she might fix too many of their long cherished and embarrassing problems.

While it might be true that Charles could put us out of our misery faster than anyone else--I believe the hope here should be for some much needed LEADERSHIP--which only Kathy can offer.

Gruber has never even managed a city before ours, so don't expect anything but more of the same or worse from him with clear direction.

Charles Marsala is a voice of reason. Though it is impossible to think the political will of the council to break from tradition will elect him Mayor - too bad
