Voters will be asked to help the Menlo Park City School District bridge a projected $2 million budget shortfall with a $178 annual parcel tax. The school board voted Feb. 2 to put a seven-year parcel tax measure on the ballot on a May 4 special mail-in election.

This is a band aide, this is why CA education is where it is.
Get your legislators and President to fix it right and stop the band aide fixes.
Look at all the people "in charge" of our kids education; clueless, out of touch, dumb, and don't care. If you ever went to a school board meeting or hear the administrators talk, you'll know what I mean. Let's lower standards for all and spread the wealth. Soon we'll be going into the basic aide districts for their loot. Unfortunately, the real estate prices are heading the wrong direction.
