It would be tragic if the murals at Hillview School were not protected while the school district evaluates design ideas.
Anyone who has seen those incredible, historic murals should honor and respect both the murals and all of the students through the years who have put their hearts and souls into painting them.
I have faith in the powers that be that they feel the same way I do about the murals and will come up with some way to either save them or duplicate them in some other form so that they will continue to be a gift to the community and Hillview students.

I just read about a process where you can digitally photograph something and then have a tile printed with the photo. How about that for saving the murals? The new school could be decked out in new tiles from the years past.
