Stanford University physics professor Tom Abel will give a free talk at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, on "Where do Stars and Galaxies Come From?" The Cafe Scientifique program will be held at SRI International in Menlo Park.

Who knew that the Universe was really a very large, dirty, bathroom drinking cup turned on its side? I didn't know.

That's why I love Cosmology so much; it's so full of surprises.
