Seriously Ms. Lewis; "it must have been someone else" is the best you could come up with? Multiple people saw you do it Ms. Lewis. You're going to have to come up with something better than that. You remind me of the dirt bags I used to arrest. They would lie and deny all the way to their jail cell. Even when I'd seen them do the crime.

Pam, thanks for putting up this post. I've been very upset by the entire incident. Lewis not only assaulted the resident but she then threatened her and hissed at her in an ugly manner.

Of course the resident is afraid to step forward. The majority of the Council protect each other and only Dobbie and Kathy seem to care about the law, ethics and transparency.

Even the Town attorney said her job is not to enforce the law but rather to do what the majority of the Council wants. After Marsala got caught and nothing was done about it, why would someone step forward?

Mr .Johns:

Will you be attending the next council meeting to protest that your documents were high -jacked and not distributed as you requested?--or be filing any other type of formal complaint about the matter of what happened to them?

Is there any way you can please make a new set of the documents and to try to hand them out again to the council and residents-and or -post them on-line, maybe here on this site or with a link?

Could you include a detailed context for each so that we can all understand how and why they support your assertions, and what they might illuminate for us all.

Have you sat down and discussed whatever their value is with the press in any detail? I mean recently-I know they ignored you in the past.

After such a long ordeal-It would seem now that you have been vindicated, that you should use this moment to be heard as clearly and throughly as you possible can.

It was a 3 year education-costing the town 600 or 700,000 dollars and you a whole lot more than that---so please tell us what you know and we need to learn.

Start again with your same list but be specific in explaining them to you average confused resident.... reporter.... attorney general....

Below is the text of an e-mail that I have sent to the City Clerk, City Manager and each member of the City Council and Chief Mike Guerra.

In short I have asked that the conduct of Ms. Lewis be placed on the agenda for April 21, 2010 or that another City Council meeting be held to discuss this matter.

I have also asked that Chief Guerra initiate a criminal investigation upon Ms. Lewis for assault, battery, petty theft and permit fraud.

Dear Mr. Gruber, Ms. Dela Santa, Chief Guerra, Madame Mayor and each member of the City Council.

Last wedensday evening I presented documentary evidence of criminal conduct on the part of Ms. Lewis and Mr. Marsala.

I presented five copies of this documentation, one for each member of the City Council. I placed them on the podium in front of Councilwoman Elizabeth Lewis. I gestured and spoke softly to Ms. Lewis. I asked that she take one and pass one along. Ms. Lewis did not acknowledge my gesture. Ms. Lewis did not glance in my direction. It seemed as though she was resolute in her denial of my very existence.

I was therefore surprised to learn after the fact that Ms. Lewis took the entire set of documents with the intention of keeping these to herself. Ms. Lewis was caught red handed. In addition to permit fraud, it appears as though Ms. Lewis is now guilty of assault, battery and petty theft.

To use the expression Dr. Sam Goodman did to refer to my discovery of illegal favors granted to Alan Carlson, Jim Janz and Charles Marsala, Ms. Lewis was caught with her "hand in the cookie jar".

To use the expression the poster "Just a Thought" on the Almanac News Town Square Forum, Ms. Lewis is trying to suppress the dissemination of information that is in the public interest.

Ms. Lewis will fail in her efforts to conceal her illegal activities. Even if she were to set fire to the building department. Even if the Building Department were to burn down, with all the records in it, it would not matter. This would be like closing the barn door after the horses have left.

There should, by the way be two sets of microfiche, one in the building department and the other at Holbrook Palmer Park. I have heard that a former building department employee never bothered to adhere to the requirement of off site storage of microfiche.

In any event, Ms. Lewis' efforts to conceal the truth are futile. I have records incriminating Ms. Lewis, Jon Buckheit has records incriminating Ms. Lewis' and now so do all of you.

I respectfully request that this matter be placed on the agenda for the April 21, 2010 City Council meeting or that another meeting be held.

Nothing is more important than the conduct of our elected officials.

As it relates to the ethical behavior we auditors have a saying "the tone is set at the top".

I also ask that Chief Guerra initiate a criminal investigation on Ms. Lewis for assault and battery, permit fraud, and petty theft.

I will, however, withdraw my complaint of petty theft if Ms. Lewis makes restitution. She may mail me a check in the amount of $8 to my home address, or she may make a donation in a similar amount to a charity of her choice along with a public apology.

Make enough so someone can actually get to see them this time!!

At least please Give us a list right of what they were.

Dear Listener

I will not be present. I will be enroute home from Alaska.

I will however ask a friend to read into the record a statement outlining the charges against Ms. Lewis and explaining the significance of the documents I have assembled in support of my allegations.

I will make sure that a sufficient number of copies are available. I will ask my friend to hand the documents directly to the Mayor for distribution to each member of the City Council.

I will also make additional copies available for the press and for the community as you have requested.
