Finding the magic of geo-caching

Hidden throughout California are more than 77,000 caches of small treasures of indeterminate value but high on the fun scale. Finding them using online clues is geo-caching, an international game of intrigue and geography that has 369 sites within five miles of Portola Valley.

I haven't found all the caches in PV, but I my favorite so far is called Love Songs and is on Coal Mine Ridge. When you find it you add your favorite Love Song to the log and you find yourself in a lovely meadow. How cool is that?
