Sandie Arnott, San Mateo County deputy treasurer, was elected Tuesday to the post of county treasurer-tax collector.

Really? Are San Mateo County voters even awake when they step into a polling booth? There is simply no way that an informed voter could have voted for Sandie Arnott. Never have I seen such gross incompetence and negligence been rewarded. Her office's negligence, for which she was significantly responsible, caused significant revenue loss to every school district in the county at a time when they could leaxt afford. But, hey, that's okay. Let's promote her!!

Arnott's simply lacks the level financial understanding that this role requires.
