Mountain lion seen in Portola Valley

A mountain lion was spotted near the 500 block of Westridge Drive in Portola Valley at around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23,, county emergency officials report.

Wow I haven't seen a Mountain Lion around Westridge Drive sense 1954 on Escobar Rd. when we were building our house.

What a treat, I hope no one tries to hunt it down and will just let it live free as they have lived sense before Westridge was subdivided. These animals have been here all along and rarely are seen in the light of day. I say look and enjoy and be aware of the dangers that are always around us. These special animals don't want to have encounters with people and when we do see them consider it a very lucky day.
