BEECH STREET..The Summer of 59
Books, posted by Marie, a resident of , on Oct 14, 2006 at 9:40 am

This is a must read! It is about 3 sibilings and their friends during one eventful summer in 1959 IN Palo Alto, California. If you liked the movie "Stand By Me" you will surely enjoy reading this book. Join Paula, Margo and Michael on a voyage through a magical and mischievous summer. You won't be disappointed....AND...an added bonus the pictures in the book from back then. YOu will recognize the streets and places that surrounded their lives...you will truly be transported back to 59 ....

"Who would have known that one summer, in the sleepy town of Palo Alto, Cailfornia would led to so many secrets...some good...some not so good. The "master plan" was all we ever wanted to accomplish! But...things just kep getting in the way. After all, 1959 was a great year to be alive, young, innocent, and sure that we were all invincible and destined to acommplish great things......"

You can order this book through any book store or even on line at Amazon.com...the author is Paula Sirois Cornell...who was raised in Palo Alto... Check it out... check Paula's website and sign her guestbook...www.paulacornell.com
