Do you know about Back-a-Yard Caribbean restaurant in Menlo Park?
The Local Dish, posted by News Hound, a resident of another community, on May 15, 2007 at 9:20 am

Check out this blog by Adam Paul on a Menlo Park restaurant:

"In the office for the first time in weeks due to a colleague visiting from Prague, I finally tried this liittle hole in the wall. Located just a few blocks from work, right next to Hwy 101 on Willow Road, Back-A-Yard is a casual, no-frills place of the order-at-the-counter variety. From their fairly large menu of Caribbean fare, I chose the jerk pork and chicken combo ($10.50), which arrived with a half dozen fried plantains, a small undressed side salad, and a mound of coconut rice and red beans."

Here's a link to the restaurant's Web site: Web Link

What are some other "hole in the wall" restaurants you've discovered?

Mar y Tierra Taqueria at 1475 Broadway in Redwood City.

Tiny, no ambience, always busy, hard to spot in an ugly strip-mall location, but great carnitas tacos and ceviche tostadas at super cheap prices. Also try the tacos "al pastor."

The specials are almost always good, too.
