"The Kiss" to highlight WWII memories weekend

On Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 13 and 14, an event in San Jose will honor veterans of World War II, including a convoy of contemporary military vehicles and a 6-foot bronze statue of "The Kiss," the famous photo of a sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square on the day the war ended.

That truly was a great picture, and it sounds like a fun event!

For all of you WWII buffs out there such as yours truly, I just got a free chapter of an upcoming book about Omar Bradley. It's really interesting so far. Heres a link if you feel like checking it out-
