As predicted - Garbage rates to have BIG increase

When the current garbage rates were being debated I predicted that the adopted rates would not cover the costs and that next year's rates would have to be even higher. Recology has now presented Atherton's increase for next year - under the suggested rate formula, Atherton residents would pay 21.2 percent more for the service next year.
