Weather clears up for Saturday's game at Woodside. Should be fun.

"Air it out!" Coach Atkins!!!

He didn't air it out, but after a scoreless first half, Coach Atkins had the kids run it out, scoring a decisive 27-0 Menlo Atherton Vikings victory over the Sparks, NV Cardinals, to take home the Pop Warner Invitational Bowl trophy.

Congrats on being a big part of youth football's renaissance on the mid-peninsula! Pop Warner is the best league, with the best competition and coaching.

Good luck to Coach Stenstrom's PeeWee team tomorrow in Santa Clara against the Richmond Eagles!

Go Vikings!!

Going to be muddy, the way football was meant to be.

Every kid looks forward to rainy games.

Good luck Vikings!

Destruction.

A team on a roll meets another team that wasn't ready for them. Completely lopsided, 29-0 before half.

Congrats to the semi-final winner who meets the Northwest champion from Washington on Saturday at Woodside.

Who might that be?

Our very own Menlo Atherton Vikings PeeWee team.

Go Vikings!

Menlo Atherton wins and advances to the nationals this week. RWC wins at a different age group. Berkeley wins. Almaden wins. East Bay won last week to advance.

At every division and age group, Peninsula Conference teams beat every team from Neveda, Oregon, Washington and Alaska to take Pacific Northwest Championships and represent in the Pop Warner Super Bowl.

The best football in the Northwest is being played in the Peninsula Pop Warner Conference. It runs from Salinas to Pacifica.

The best locally? Our local football powerhouses - RWC and Menlo Atherton Pop Warner.

The best of the best.

Good luck in Florida, boys!
