Atherton council appeals to agency to keep interim city manager

One of the few things the warring Atherton City Council members can agree on is that they like the job John Danielson, the interim city manager, is doing for them. And they want him to stay around awhile longer.

Yet the council voted 3-2 to pass on $85,000 a year in revenue from Wedding Rentals.
