Atherton Library, in conjunction with the Peninsula Humane Society, is hosting the popular Paws for Tales program. Children ages 5 and older can sign up in advance to read to a trained therapy dog. Reading aloud builds confidence, and helps improve reading skills. The fourth Saturday of each month, from 11 am to Noon. Spaces are still agailable for this Saturday, January 28th. Idon't volunteer for Paws for Tales only due to time constraints; otherwise, I would. It's a most excellent program. Thank you, PHS & your volunteers for this valuable work!
