Court halts suit against Encinal PTO volunteers

(This is an expanded version of an article published earlier.) A lawsuit filed by a former Encinal School basketball coach against the school's Parent Teacher Organization and three of its officers for kicking him off the volunteer coaching squad will be dismissed following a Feb. 9 ruling by the California Court of Appeal.

It's been a long road in this classic example of a huge "disproportionate response". But Mr. Hecimovich made his legal "bed", now he must lie in it.
