Saturday: The mystery of happiness

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 25), Kepler's will screen a film about what makes people happy, including people who you might think have no reason to be happy.

This is a good film. We saw it on Stanford campus & it was followed by a lively discussion & Q&A. It's a good look at what happiness means to others, how they achieve & maintain it & what it means for us in the US & us as individuals.

The secret of happiness is being happy.

It doesn't depend on anything...

except possible being silly.

Like almost everything in life, happiness is simply luck.

The exception is in people who give of themselves to others without any motive.
