A frustrating finish as M-A's unbeaten season ends

He clanked it on the left post and the ball ricocheted across the front of the goal and harmlessly rolled away. With that, the dream of an unbeaten season was over for the Bears.

Hi,

I attended the game as Uncle of Flint Mitchell who played on Menlo Atherton Team. Me with his family felt that many of the penalties against Menlo Atherton were unfair as well. The Refs did a poor job with officiating the game. They heavily leaned toward the Watsonville Team and allowed them to get away with many penalties accept for one yellow card and also slap Menlo for everything they did wrong. The Yellow and red cards were unjustified. This was one main factor that caused the loss. Despite this loss, the team did great all season long as I have watched a few games.
