The story of Oscar (who was not a grouch)
Fiction, posted by Joe, a resident of the Menlo Park: Allied Arts/Stanford Park neighborhood, on Mar 31, 2012 at 2:15 pm

Oscar padded across the field, his feet leaving tracks in the patches of dust and short grass, his ears alert to the noises of the community of small creatures that lived there.

The noises, that is, that he could detect amidst the soft but persistent clink, clink, clink of the chain around his neck. Being on his own like this, not knowing where his next meal would be or who would be serving it to him, this was new. You see, Oscar was lost.

To the readers: Please continue this story in your own words.

Stories like this are why there is a Fiction category on this forum.

Let's enjoy many co-authors and going to places we don't expect and could not do on our own.
