Obama Administration Hammers Women on Jobs

Original post made by BLS Junkie, Menlo Park: Sharon Heights, on Apr 12, 2012

The net number of jobs held by women has fallen by 683,000 since Mr. Obama's inauguration in January 2009, according to a monthly survey of employers by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Male employment has fallen by only 57,000.

92.3% of the job losses were by women. Way to go Obama!

And global warming has gotten worse, people are losing their homes to foreclosure, Syria is in turmoil, Iran is developing nuclear capabilities, the European Union is in crisis, the schools are underfunded, my cat is sick, I've got an ingrown toenail -- all since Obama has taken office. How did he manage to screw everything up so completely? The world and this great country of ours were doing so fantastically well before January 2009.

"92.3% of the job losses were by women"

Wow. Doesn't even pass a smell test.

Prove it.

Here, I'll help - Politifact calls it an outright LIE.

What an absurd notion. The fringe trolls will post anything they get off the Fox website, without even taking a moment to think how ridculous the claim is!!!!

"The numbers are accurate but quite misleading.

There is a small amount of truth to the claim, but it ignores critical facts that would give a different impression. We rate it Mostly False."

Sad days in troll-ville.

One would imagine the trolls would at least try to create a story that seems plausible.

Sad.

BLS Junkie will now shift to the CNN pundit that the Romney campaign lied about being part of the Obama campaign.

BusinessWeek, a liberal publication (!) takes apart the phony 92.3% claim.

FACT CHECK: Romney's skewed case on women's jobs

"As a meaningful measure of Obama's economic record and its effect on women, though, it is dubious at best.

Romney's math is solid as far as it goes. But more men than women have lost jobs since the recession began -- that's why economists called it a "man-cession."

All you Hannity and Limbaugh fans should check the facts as seen on the news all day on CNN and even FOX.
Those figures are WRONG and the majority of those jobs were lost during the BUSH tenure...if you would call it that.
You old fogies just love to hear Obama shrunk the economy when it was your leaders.....They are all going to get blasted for those figures.
That is why my Republican (rich from deals)and friends with Reagan got me to change their politics just as Nancy Reagan ran the White House with her astrologer..........
When I enter my name, it is already lit up saying I have entered the wrong verification number. Isn't throwing away my rejoinders enough?
