Bike route closes for 18 days, except Sundays

The stretch of Crystal Springs Road that connects Polhemus Road and Skyline Boulevard in San Mateo closed to all vehicle traffic on Monday, June 11, and will remain closed through Friday, June 29, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission said.

Crystal Springs Road is the main access road for people bicycling or jogging to the Sawyer Camp Trail. Cars can take I-280 instead, but closing Crystal Springs Road is a huge blow to people who don't want to smog up their outdoors.
