Supervisors Horsley & Tissier a missed opportunity for Measure A
Around Town, posted by Michael G. Stogner, a resident of another community, on Nov 2, 2012 at 12:01 pm

The Media Center 5 offers 5 minutes of free video for you to present your ideas, and reasons you want the voters to vote for the measure you put on the ballot. Don Horsley and Adrienne Tissier chose not to use this free service, and again it's 5 minutes not 30 seconds. They chose instead to be in much shorter ads, paid for by Seton Medical Center, The Daughters of Charity Health System, and the California State Council of Service Employees Issues Committee. Supervisor Horsley chose to speak as our former Sheriff "I know that Measure A will keep our community safer." That's all he said, sounds like he is trying to scare some of our voters, I would have preferred him taking more time to tell us why this tax is important.

I would have liked to hear from the other 3 Supervisors as to why this tax is important.

Here is the video of a private citizen who took the time to tell us why she says NO.

It's my understanding that it cost $40,000 to place this on the ballot. Was this paid by the County or by Seton Medical and Labor.

Here is one of the 30 second ads paid for by Seton Medical and Labor.
