Portola Valley names new commissioners

The Town Council of Portola Valley last night (Nov. 28) named two new members and reappointed five incumbent members to the Planning Commission and the Architectural & Site Control Commission (ASCC).

It was a stunning field of candidates. Remarkable that so many residents stepped forward to serve our wonderful volunteer government. And I hope they will choose to serve on other committees. I congratulate the new appointees. I also want to recognize the 21 years of service by my fellow commissioner Carter Warr, from whom I learned so much and whose contributions I deeply respected.
