Redistricting Committee a short history

In June 2006 Jerry Hill successfully runs a campaign and wins for Supervisor for the 3rd time and takes an oath to fulfill the 4 year obligation. Shortly thereafter he chooses to run for assembly for the State of California and successfully runs another campaign which causes him to break his oath to the public. He caused the remaining supervisors to show their true colors and deciding how to fill his vacant position. Two dozen groups wanted the voters to decide this issue and were opposed to the appointment.

These are the only people who spoke to the Supervisors on December 16th 2008 regarding appointment vs election. The top 5 wanted to appoint Carole Groom. Dave Pine is the only person who spoke in favor of democracy.
