School board OKs Oak Knoll revised plan

Revised plans for Oak Knoll School's additions received the green light from trustees of the Menlo Park City School District on Sept. 11 when they unanimously approved moving the plans from the schematic or conceptual stage to the design phase.

"The revised plan was developed in response to concerns from neighbors and

directives from trustees". The concerns from neighbors have not been adequately addressed. The trustees have acted illegally. But Marjorie Mader refuses to perfom her journalistic duties of fair and balanced reporting. That is why the Oak Knoll approved plan will never get beyond the planning stage. Marjorie, just go stand in the playground during recess and envision total destruction of that special place.

Then maybe you will appreciate what the neighborhood kids are fighting for. [portion removed by Almanac staff]
