Park Theater: latest salvo

Although you won't find it mentioned in the Almanac (or anywhere else, as far as I can tell) the Parks and Rec commission is holding a special meeting at 6 p.m. tonight to discuss the Park Theater proposal.

The proponents of this project seem to be fond of quietly convening meetings at odd times, thereby fulfilling the letter if not the spirit of open government. If this project is such a boon (rather than a boondoggle) why the secrecy?
