Pirates and Musketeer Fencing Summer Camps

Pirates and Musketeer Fencing Summer Camp

Open to young fencers of all levels from beginner to competitive fencers. Instruction and practice will involve electrical fencing equipment, so kids will experience full excitement of Olympic fencing in all three sword-types including Foil, Epee, and Saber. We will be learning and practicing basic fencing techniques, strategies and tactics, playing fun, exciting, developmental, mind-challenging active games, and getting stronger, smarter, and healthier than ever! No previous experience required. Children will be divided into groups from beginner to beginner competitive and intensity will very depending on the age and level.

Fencing is a great sport for kids. Children learn about sportsmanship and self-discipline. They learn to compete independently as well as for a team; they learn to enjoy winning and profit from defeats, while becoming physically fit and healthy; and, most importantly, they learn to make complex decisions, analyze problems, and think fast. These ideals help children reach their potential in many areas other than fencing. Fencing is also a great college sport with many scholarship opportunities.
