Wow! Do any of the candidates endorse the information on this website. All candidates have said they support Tim Sheeper just not the process that put the contract in place. 7 Council Members?? I haven't heard any candidate suggest this. Help...

Undecided voter:
Bressler, Cline and Heyward have all endorsed expanding the council to 7 members. This may well be the position taken by DuBoc, Winkler and Boyle as well, but thus far I haven't seen that in print.

The 3 challenger candidates have not endorsed Take Back Menlo Park, though some of the positions in it synch up with some of the challengers' positions.
Some are NOT in synch - for example:
(1) Take Back seems to want to end the contract with Sheeper but all 3 candidates have made it clear they wil not and cannot do that "just because" given the existing 5-year contract (except for cause), and they have said Sheeper is generally doing a good job.
(2) Take Back upposes Measure K, and all three challenger candidates, plus all three on the incumbent slate, have said they support K.
*Don't* decide based on the "Take Back Menlo Park" site (entertaining though some of its features are). Instead, look at the candidates' individual literature and contact them directly by email or call their listed numbers to ask any remaining questions before you vote.
