Someone mentioned chainsaws. "I like using my chainsaw on the weekend and would be very upset about not using it," Ms. Plunder said.
This is the "me first" or "me only" attitude that has been so prevalent in America in the last several years. I'm sorry, Ms. Plunder, that you woul be "very upset" about not using it", but why not be considerate to other people? Well, that answer is easy. Because Ms. Plunder was raised without any sense of consideration for other people. If she grew up AT ALL. She sounds like a grown-up adolescent.

Plunder is all too typical of Portola Valley residents' lack of consideration for others. I just hope she won't mind when my similarly ego-centered self has fun with my jack-hammer first thing on weekend mornings. I promise not to use it in the afternoons, but I do especially like using it on cool evenings after I put my kids to bed. I like to save my afternoons for listening to hip-hop at max deicibel levels.
