Prop 1A -- High Speed Rail -- councilman Boyle wants you to vote yes
Original post made by Morris Brown, Menlo Park: Park Forest, on Oct 24, 2008
He has published a viewpoint piece in this newspaper. He and the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce continue to advocate for this project.
Yesterday, Oct 23rd, an important committee meeting was held in Sacramento and the subject was the missing business plan, which was promised and mandated by law to be delivered by Sept 1st.
The California High Speed Rail Authority is currently in violation of State Law. Why anyone would want to put the Authority, which can't obey State law, in charge of a project like this, which will cost by their estimates $45 billion makes no sense.
I have just posted some audio excerpts from that meeting as well a link to the full audio / visual available on the California Channel.
for this information.
